Our Little Mermaid!

Earlier this month, Mia turned four, and we all had a wonderful time celebrating!  On her actual birthday, we took her to the zoo, where she had lots of fun playing in the splash pad and visiting the animals.  For her party, she requested a Mermaid Party (which was a really fun summer theme!) - we had a mermaid arts & crafts station, photo station, temporary tattoo station and, of course, a piƱata!  We were also very lucky to have beautiful summer weather for her party, so the kids were also able to run through the sprinkler :)  Happy Birthday to our Little Mermaid!!!

Stella's Baptism!

May 17th was a very special day for us this year because it was Stella's baptism!  Despite the gloomy, rainy weather forecast, we were blessed with a warm, sunny day that looked like the perfect spring day in New England.  As with Mia's baptism, we held the private ceremony at the St. Benedict Abbey in Harvard, a place that is very special to our family, and Father James, who is even more special to our family, performed the baptism.  Stella wore the same baptismal gown that mommy and big sister, Mia, also wore, which is adorable, and she was happy and calm throughout the entire ceremony with her godparents, Auntie Linda and Uncle Ralph.  We were so lucky to have our friends and family join us - it was a wonderful and memorable day!

Easter Fun!

We had a great time at Easter this year!  It was Stella's first Easter, and Mia had so much fun at egg hunts, doing Easter activities and, of course, celebrating with family.  As always, the neighborhood egg hunt was fun, though Mia decided to keep a safe distance from the Easter Bunny this year :)
