Easter Fun!

We had a great time at Easter this year!  It was Stella's first Easter, and Mia had so much fun at egg hunts, doing Easter activities and, of course, celebrating with family.  As always, the neighborhood egg hunt was fun, though Mia decided to keep a safe distance from the Easter Bunny this year :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a fun time with St. Patrick's Day this year!  As with the last few holidays, Mia had a lot of fun learning about the holiday before it arrived - we did some arts and crafts, read books, prepared green food and had a leprechaun treasure hunt at our house that week, and the leprechauns even left a few treasures for the girls when we woke up on March 17th!

Valentines Day Chez Driscoll

Valentine's Day has always been one of my favorite holidays, and it was so much fun this year with our two little girls!  Mia and I had a lot of fun making Valentine's Day cards, crafts and decorations for the first two weeks of February.  I also put together a "Valentine's Day basket" that was full of books (and I could not avoid a few stuffed animals!) to learn about the holiday and we kept a countdown on Mia's door by placing a little "love note" on her bedroom door each day with something that we love about her.  Of course, Daddy also surprised all of us with flowers, gifts and a wonderful Valentine's Day dinner as well - we had a wonderful time celebrating!
